Butamyata Beach is located south of Sinemorets and is among the most scenic beaches in Bulgaria, close to the Turkish border, in Burgas Province. Stretching approximately 700 meters and flanked by steep hills covered with ancient forest, Butamyata Beach offers a truly pristine natural landscape. Yes, Butamyata Beach has umbrellas and sunbeds available for hire. Book in advance through MySpot, especially during the peak months of July and August.
Yes, Butamyata Beach is suitable for families with children – there are even beach attractions for the youngest visitors. Lifeguards are on duty throughout the summer season.
By car – there is a car park at the beach itself. Alternatively, from Sinemorets on foot along a marked forest path in around 20–30 minutes. By car from Burgas approximately 70 minutes along the road towards Tsarevo and Ahtopol.
From June to September, air temperatures range between 24°C and 33°C, with sea water reaching 21–27°C. The wind is typically light to moderate. The UV index is high – sunscreen is strongly recommended as there is little natural shade on the beach.
