Akrotiriya Beach is located on the scenic headland of Ravda – a rocky promontory jutting into the sea between Ravda and Nessebar, in Burgas Province. This beach is unique for its combination of rocky sections and small sandy coves, creating a feeling of wildness and seclusion just steps from civilisation. Akrotiriya beach is one of the most interesting destinations on the Black Sea coast for nature lovers and snorkelling enthusiasts, offering crystal-clear water and rich underwater life around the rocks.
The weather at Akrotiriya beach during summer is sunny and warm, typical of the southern Black Sea coast. The forecast for the Akrotiriya area in June shows temperatures of 25 to 29°C, rising to 30–34°C in July and August. The sea temperature at Akrotiriya Beach is high – around 22–24°C in June, 25–27°C in July and August, and 22–24°C in September. The rocky headland creates a microclimate with warmer water in the sheltered coves and interesting currents around the rocks, attracting a diverse range of marine species.

On foot from the centre of Ravda in around 15–20 minutes along the coastal path. By car from Burgas approximately 25 minutes along the E87. Buses from Nessebar and Sunny Beach to Ravda run every 15–20 minutes. The coves can also be reached by kayak from Ravda.
From June to September, air temperatures range between 25°C and 34°C, with sea water reaching 22–27°C. The wind can be stronger than at nearby sheltered beaches due to the exposed position of the headland. The UV index is high – sunscreen is strongly recommended.
